Make A Free Web Site
Catchy Domain Name!
After you have put all your content together find a domain name for your site. Make it short and sweet. Be creative, catchy and open to possibilities. The easier it is for people to remember the easier it is for them to come back. If you do not want to pay a registrar for a domain name pick a good sub domain name which should be free from you Web Hosting Provider.
You will also have to registrar your name with a Domain Registrar. Some examples are Go Daddy, Domain.com and many many others. It a place to park your name. Find one that is cheap and will allow you to move your domain name freely if you decide to use another service.
One of the things I like to do is to pick a Sub Domain name first, set up the website, and then see what happens. If all works out well I will then try to register a Domain Name as close as I can to the first pre-fix on the Domain Name. Example, I will set up a site like dog.xyz.com and if that works well and I get a lot of traffic I would set up a domain such as mygoodog.com. Use the Sub Domains for testing!
